WELCOME
Cavallino Bianco, a historic hotel located in the heart of Velino Sirente Park, represents a tradition that continues for MORE THAN 50 YEARS. It offers its guests a friendly and caring hospitality in a suggestive setting, only a few meters away the main square of the town. Thanks to its excellent location, guests can easily reach Monte Magnola ski area – with free shuttles during the winter – as well as the historic village characterized by stone houses and narrow streets. Warm family management and delicious cooking are peculiarities that the hotel preserves overtime. Many activities are carried out in the heart of the Velino Sirente Regional Park, both in winter and summer.

The hotel is located just 5 minutes from the ski resort of Ovindoli Monte Magnola and 15 minutes from Campo Felice ski resort.

All rooms are comfortable and quiet. Typology and width change to meet different needs, offer includes single, double, double, triple and quadruple rooms. All are equipped with private bathroom with bathtub or shower and hairdryer, LCD TV, small desk, direct telephone, Wi-Fi connection, and electronic safe.
WELLNESS CENTER
The wellness centre is a haven of relaxation and peace, a sweet time after a day of activity.
It is imagined as a space for restoring energy and vitalising body.
The location enjoys a panoramic view of the village, in a cosy and welcoming setting. Services include Jacuzzi tubs (six / eight people), Finnish sauna, Turkish bath with aromatic essences, emotional shower, ice fountain, and relax area where enjoy a tea.

Snow kite
An alternative to classic winter sports, it can be practiced in the suggestive setting of the Valle d’Arano for free,
just a few minutes walking from the hotel.
Snow Scoot
Bikes, motorbikes, skis or snowboards? The snow scoot merges them in one exciting discipline.
Snowshoes
Hiking with snowshoes is an activity for everyone and one of the best ways to enjoy winter beauty. It is an experience to feel in harmony with yourself and enjoy the wild nature of Velino Sirente Park.
Hiking, Horse riding
Altipiano Delle Rocche, whose Ovindoli is part, hosts numerous stables and offers a spectacular setting for horse riding or riding lessons. All just a few minutes walking from the hotel. Several peaks and panoramas can be reach and explore in the area. Hiking paths with a various range of difficulties, from the simplest with small slopes to the most challenging with a significant difference in height.
Mountain Bike
The cycle of Altapiano delle Rocche, known as the highest in Abruzzo, covers 30 km with varying gradients of sloops.

Trekking
Several scenic trails, which in some cases re-trace the ancient tracks, are in the Velino Sirente Park. Among the most appreciated L’Anello della Val D ‘Arano, a 6km trail ring of pure nature just a few minutes away from our hotel.

Climbing
At just one kilometre from the hotel is a climbing cliff made of 13 bolted routes with arrival chain, including one in 4 shots with a difficulty range from 5c to 7a.

Art and culture
Alba Fucens, an Italic archaeological site a few kilometers from Ovindoli, deserves a visit. As well as medieval agro-pastoral villages such as Castelvecchio Calvisio, Rocca Calascio and Santo Stefano Di Sessanio.
